Elaine Gilmore has enjoyed a long love of fiber arts. She shares almost 2 decades of longarm quilting knowledge with new and seasoned quilters, teaching basic to advanced quilting throughout the US and internationally.
She quilts with an HQ Avanté® with Pro-Stitcher® as well as her HQ Sweet Sixteen®. An expert with the Pro-Stitcher, Elaine loves using all the tools available to her when designing classes and quilts. Between Handi Quilter events, she teaches regularly in her studio and on line for those wanting advanced Pro-Stitcher classes.
In addition to her many years of quilting experience, Elaine is a former Handi Quilter retailer and technician and self-publisher of two books on computerized custom quilting. She enjoys thinking outside the box, and considers it a pretty good day when she masters a new technique to share with her students.
Married with 3 grown children and 13 grandchildren, Elaine loves to travel, knit, laugh and enjoy life with her family and husband John.
