Each student in the HQ Pro-Stitcher class will have her or his own HQ AmaraTM longarm machine and HQ Pro-Stitcher for this hands-on classes. These classes will cover all the tools available in this powerful program.


Learn why Area is such an important tool to use each time you resize and place a design in a block on your quilt.

Rotate, Resize, Repeat

Let these tools help finesse your designs to fit within your blocks or borders.


Learn how to crop the inside or outside of an area. Learn the importance of using either Closed or Open when cropping a design, and how to crop the bottom or top of an edge-to-edge design.

New Start and Stop

Master the technique for resuming after a thread break, or creating new designs, and stitching oversized blocks and borders.

Edge to Edge

Learn how to repeat a design horizontally and vertically for the edge-to-edge method and then use wrapping and off-set to completely fill the area.


Learn how Freehand can help in creating your own stitch-in-the-ditch lines, or straight-line quilting.

Bonus – Instruction will be given for correct thread and bobbin tension adjustment, proper maintenance of machine, and loading a quilt.
